“My mom is always like, ‘You’re such a good singer. You should just be a musician.’ And she like kind of tries to push, but I’m like, ‘No, Mom. I can’t do it.’ I think she's like accepted the fact that I have really bad stage fright and I just can't do it. I think she's like started to realize that this is what I want to do. They’re pushing me, and they're helping me out. They understand what it's like to be an artist, and they also understand the importance of going to art school… because a lot of people just think that it’s bullsh*t. They're just like, ‘What’s the point of doing that? You're just wasting your money.’ But my parents are pushing me to do it.”
